| The Reign of Monkey Allan |
Having been promoted the previous season, the 2s found themselves in a very competitive league, made up of other first teams and the Loughborough 2s.
We had to scrap hard for every point, acheiving victories home and away to Staffordshire, and beating UEA at home. Points were also gained from two draws; away to UEA and away to Loughborough 2s - an excellent display.
While the 2s managed to acheive their goal of staying up, they were rather disappointing in front of goal, with several players sharing the golden boot award, each with one goal.
Yet though the season was tough the spirit within the team was fantastic, just so long as Goodyear and Rocher were kept apart long enough.
And thus Monkey left the 2s with an excellent platform on which to build in the 2007/8 season.
